Our Latest Adventure... PARIS

The Family in Paris. Minus Devin, he was just a little to young. He will have to come with us next time! The kids all wanted passports for Christmas so they could start seeing new things. They really did not care to get anything else! So we decided to take them to Paris for their first stamp in their passports.

Matt and I in front of the Eiffle tower. I could not get the picture to turn, sorry.

Jaxon's very favorite part of the trip was eating crepes everyday with nutella and bananas!
Although he loved the Arc de Triomphe! We had to go 2 times. We went once then on his birthday he insisted on going again, because it was his birthday. After doing that again we took them up the Eiffle tower and he loved that! What a birthday Jaxon had! He still talks about what a great day it was!

After the crepe was almost gone. It happened every time!

Jax and I in front of Notre-Dame.

Kayla in front of the Arc de Triomphe.

The kids and I in front of the Louve. We were there for just over a week and were able to see almost everything we wanted. We also saw the Catacombs, Versailles, Napoleon's tomb, Sainte- Chapelle, and of course for our family, spent a day at Disneyland Paris. We had a WONDERFUL time and can't wait to go again sometime! We took a lot of pictures! I just chose a few.

Long over due update!!!!

I know our blog has been missing a post for a very very long time! We have just been busy, busy in our household! So..........what is new in our household??? Caden and Jaxon have been playing football and loving every minute of it! Both of their teams made it to the playoffs. Caden's team made it to the Semi-finals (almost made it to the superbowl again, but lost. He was heartbroken!!). They just finished this week and are already missing it and talk of next year already! Kayla made the basketball team in middle school!! We are so proud of her! They had their first game Friday and won. Kayla is also playing the piano and learning very quickly. She also was made piano student of the month. She is still playing the trombone and doing very well. Caden is in chorus and was picked to perform in "The Pirates of Penzance" by the Atlanta Opera Company at his school on Nov. 17. His chorus teacher was to pick 16 of the 64 chorus students to perform with them. He was very proud to be picked! And Devin is just Devin, into everything and keeping everyone on there toes!!! As you can see I have had a lot to keep up with and so that is why the blog has been a little low on the list. My goal is to get at least one post a month, for a start.

Halloween Trunk or Treat!

We all had a lot of fun dressing up this year! Matt went as Capt. Jack Sparrow and we were his pirates. We love Halloween! Our kids already have in mind what next year will be!

The pirate family, minus one. Kayla was finishing up basketball practice and met up with us later.

Does he look great or what?!

Grandma and Grandpa L. and Shannon Come to Visit!

We were so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa L. and Shannon visit us. We had a lot of fun!

Spring break vacation

Over spring break we went to North Carolina with some friend and rented a cabin. We had so much fun!!! We relaxed, played games, went sliding down a steep hill (which pictures will come later), hiked, fished, walks, ate and ate some more. It was beautiful there and we can't wait to go back!!

Devin's Birthday

Our little boy is now 2 yrs old! Boy does time fly! He really is digging the Caden hairdo!

He LOVES his tools! He is following in his dad's footsteps. Matt is loving it also! I actually caught him just before he took his dad's plumber putty and put it in the electrical socket. He was just wanting to fill the holes like his dad. He can be quite the handful sometimes. Keeps mom on her toes!

For his birthday, we invited some friends and went to a park to have pizza and cookie cake. It was a lot of fun and Devin really enjoyed himself! He was quite excited to get a lawn mower!

Opening presents.

Singing Happy Birthday and blowing out the candles. He was very focused on the candle the whole song!

Jaxon was so good to his brother the whole time at the park. He loved pushing him in the swing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIN!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Jaxon's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAXON!
He is now 5 years old.
To him he is not just 5 years old,
he says "I am 5 and get to play football now".
He is such a cute boy and really keeps the laughter
going in our house. We love you!

These are the pictures we get of Jaxon.
He sees a camera and can not sit still.
Always posing and jumping.
