SUPERBOWL

WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!
Caden's team made it all the way to the end.
Their team plays in the superbowl tomorrow.
Tonight we had the pep rally for their team.
Their coach had a big bonfire going the whole time,
he smoked a pig, they had someone there making pizza
for everyone and music going. The cheerleaders did
some cheers for them and of coarse the boys played
a lot of football. It was a great time!
GOOD LUCK TOMORROW PACKERS!!!

Caden's Victory!

Caden had his big moment at his football game today. He scored his first touchdown!!! He ran about 40 yards. We are so proud of him! GREAT JOB CADEN!!!!

Reliving the Past

At school yesterday Kayla was coming down the bleachers after an activity they had and was accidentally tripped. So Matt and I got a call from the nurse. She ended up breaking her arm in the exact same spot as last year. Now we are just waiting for the swelling to go down and in a week she will get her cast. She is devastated because it is her right arm, the one she writes with. BUMMER DEAL!!!!

Football for Cade

As Cade would say, "I am finally playing football!" He has been asking to play since he was 4 years old. Now that he has started playing, 90% of his conversations are about football. He is literally loving every minute!! Matt and I were a little set back when we saw his first few practices and thought he might change his mind, but instead is doing the opposite and can't get enough. The coaches are quite tough with them, but Caden does not seem to mind. He has such a positive outlook ( I guess that is what you need to play this sport). His first official game is Saturday. Last Saturday they had a jamboree. They played against two teams. They won 1 and lost 1 at the last minute. Caden is #24.

First Day of School

Yesterday, was the first day of school. They were all so excited! I didn't even get a picture of Cade and Kayla at school cuz they were off so fast. I was lucky to get one picture of them all. Middle School is going to be quite a different experience for us, especially since she is a girl I think. Accessories is a big thing now. Just this morning I was informed that all her hair pieces are too girly anb young looking. Also if I do style her hair at all it has to be a certain way. Some of the hair dos are too kiddish, so Kayla says. Our little girl, doesn't seem so little any more.

SOUTH CAROLINA BEACH TRIP

This was one of our last minute trips. Matt ended up getting an extra day off because of a high speed so we decided to take advantage of it. It is a little harder for Matt to be spontaneous, but he is getting better at it the more we do it! We finally decided on going to Charleston, South Carolina (2 hours before the flight left) and hanging out at the beach. We all had a blast!!

4th of July

Our 4th of July was full of a lot of fun! We were able to spend it with a few of our friends. First, we started our day with going to the parade in our golf cart of course (our kids looked forward to this all year). Then, we took off to the lake for the afternoon. And last but not least came back to see the fireworks. Our kids love the 4th here in Georgia! Who wouldn't!
